The achievement in innovation and improvement registrations for the Company in 2023 is a total of 620 innovation and improvement ideas, which is a 61% increase from 2022. Out of the 620 collected ideas, 463 innovations have already been implemented. Additionally, in 2023, the Company successfully obtained another patent, namely the issuance of a patent certificate for the innovation titled 'A System for Replacing Canvases From Silo Valve Sockets', and one innovation is in the Granted stage (passed the Substantive Examination Final Stage and deemed eligible for a Patent), namely the innovation titled 'Peralatan Purifikasi Oli Transformator'. Every year, the Company sends Innovation Teams to participate in various competitions, both at the national level such as TKMPN and the international level such as ICQCC & IQPC. For 2023, the Company sent 8 innovation teams to the National Competition (TKMPN) held in Yogyakarta, with 7 teams receiving Platinum awards and 1 team receiving a Gold award. As for the participation of Semen Padang Innovation Team in international innovation competitions, a total of 3 teams were sent to 2 different events in 2023. One innovation team participated in the International Quality & Productivity Conference (IQPC) in Kuala Lumpur, and 2 teams participated in the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) in Beijing, with all teams achieving the highest ratings, namely Excellent at IQPC Kuala Lumpur and Gold at ICQCC Beijing.
